Permanently remove your account and data in four taps — or by request if you can’t sign in.
Effective July 21, 2026
1. Open The Fishing GOAT and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
4. Confirm. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
Your login, profile, private data (email, birth date, GPS records), private journal and its map pins, feed posts, comments, notifications, group memberships, and any water crowns you hold (they transfer to the next angler on each board).
The only retention: catches that are part of finished tournament records may be kept in anonymized form — with your identity removed — so other participants’ results and placements stay intact.
If you can’t sign in (lost access to your email, forgotten password on a device you no longer have), send a deletion request through the contact form on our Support page from any device. Include the username or email on the account; we will verify ownership and process the deletion.
