Effective July 21, 2026 · These master rules govern every giveaway run by The Fishing GOAT. Each individual giveaway is announced in the app with its specific prize, entry period, and entry method, and incorporates these rules.
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. The Fishing GOAT app is free to download and free to play, and all entries are earned through free participation. A purchase does not improve your chances of winning. Void where prohibited by law.
Giveaways are sponsored and administered by The Fishing GOAT (“Sponsor”). Contact: the contact form on our Support page. Giveaways are NOT sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple Inc., Google LLC, Meta Platforms, or any app store or social platform.
Open only to legal residents of the United States (including U.S. territories) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry and hold a Fishing GOAT account in good standing. Employees of Sponsor and their immediate family members are not eligible. Accounts suspended for violating the Terms of Service or Community Guidelines are not eligible. Void where prohibited.
Each giveaway announcement specifies its entry method, which is one of the following:
XP-weighted entries: each XP point on your account at the time of the drawing counts as one entry. XP is earned exclusively through free play — competing in tournaments, completing challenges, and posting catches — as described in the app and at the Rulebook.
Equal entries: every eligible account within the announced scope receives exactly one entry.
Crown bonus (when announced): if the giveaway announcement states the crown bonus applies, anglers holding at least one water crown at the time of the drawing receive double their entries.
A giveaway’s scope may be limited (for example, to a state, a specific body of water, a tournament’s participants, or a group), as stated in its announcement.
Winners are selected by random drawing conducted by Sponsor’s automated system, weighted by entries as described above. Odds of winning depend on the total number of entries at the time of the drawing. Sponsor’s selection is final.
Winners are notified through an in-app notification and must respond through the app or Sponsor’s contact channel within fourteen (14) days. If a winner does not respond within 14 days, is found ineligible, or declines the prize, Sponsor may select an alternate winner by the same method.
The prize for each giveaway is described in its announcement. No cash substitution or transfer, except that Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the announced prize becomes unavailable. Winners are solely responsible for any applicable taxes. Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty from Sponsor beyond any manufacturer’s warranty.
Except where prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to announce the winner’s username and state in the app and on Sponsor’s website and social channels, without additional compensation.
Sponsor may disqualify entries obtained through cheating, automation, multiple accounts, or any violation of the Terms of Service, and may cancel, suspend, or modify a giveaway if fraud or technical failure compromises its integrity. In that event, Sponsor may award the prize from among eligible entries received before the action taken. All Sponsor decisions are final.
By participating, entrants release Sponsor and its affiliates from any claim arising out of participation in a giveaway or the receipt or use of a prize, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee. Any dispute shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
The username of each giveaway’s winner is announced in the app. A written winner list for any giveaway completed in the past six months is available on request via the contact form.
